Two more people are missing at sea.

49-year-old Rajeshwar Naidu and 45 year old Edward Lavish of Karavi, Ba went for fishing last Tuesday but failed to return home.

According to Police, the two were on board a red 27ft half cabin boat named JADE and were fishing off Yadua Island.

Meanwhile, the search for two fishermen of Volivoli, Rakiraki who have been missing since last Thursday has been called off temporarily due to the adverse weather condition.

Police say the search will continue when the weather improves.

34‑year‑old Nigel Nischal Mani and 34‑year‑old Rajneel Rajnesh Reddy left for a fishing trip to the Vatu‑I‑Ra passage and failed to return home.

The two Rakiraki men were traveling in a red wooden cabin boat.

Police are pleading with mariners to take the warnings seriously as the Fiji Meteorological Office has issued a gale warning and strong wind warning for parts of the Fiji group.

People living in the nearby areas are advised to keep a look out and report any sightings to Police Search and Rescue centre on 3318529 or 3315380.
