The trial of two Cyprus Nationals Loizos Petridis and Cleanthis Petridis who are facing charges in regards to money laundering will be held in September.
It is alleged that in December 2017, they were allegedly engaged directly or indirectly in obtaining $95,590 which were proceeds of crime – while knowing it was derived from some form of unlawful activity.
It is also alleged that in December 2017 they procured $41,540 from the BSP Bank with the intention to permanently deprive the bank of the amount.
It is also alleged they possessed $203,009 suspected of being proceeds of crime.
