A 17-year-old boy is currently admitted at the Trauma Ward in Lautoka Hospital after he was found lying unconscious on the road side on Sunday afternoon.
The boy was last seen riding a horse with two others heading towards Ba and the discovery was made at a settlement in Tavua.
Police say the victim was rushed to Tavua Hospital and then later transferred to Lautoka Hospital and is under observation.
Meanwhile a 35-year-old woman is also admitted at the Lautoka Hospital after she was attacked by an unknown male.
The incident is alleged to have occurred at Naikabula, Lautoka on Saturday night.
Investigations into both incidents continue.
