Sixteen people charged with sedition and inciting communal antagonism in relation to the alleged Nadroga-Navosa sovereign Christian state matter appeared in the Lautoka High Court today.
The matter was called to fix a trial date and has been adjourned to 2nd February next year to set a trial date before which both the State and the Defence are to complete Pretrial Conference requirements.
Bail has been extended for all accused persons.
Meanwhile, 43 people charged with sedition and urging political violence have been further remanded by the Lautoka High Court.
Saimoni Nacolawa’s bail has been extended on medical grounds.
This is in relation to the alleged paramilitary style training.
The matter has been adjourned to the 18th of January.
The bail hearing for the 20 accused people has been adjourned to the 7th of this month.
