Heavy rain this morning did not deter the new 154 police recruits from standing tall and proud during the Fiji Police Pass out parade at the Nasova grounds.
The new 154 recruits which includes 105 males and 49 females went through 6 months of physical and theoretical training.
While addressing the new recruits this morning, Minister for Immigration, National Security and Defence, Timoci Natuva commended them for making the bold choice of joining the Police Force.
Natuva told the recruits to always remember that policing has always been more than just a job and to maintain their integrity under whichever circumstances they face.
Meanwhile, we spoke to 22 year old Akash Prasad who was given the Commissioners Book Prize Award for scoring the highest aggregate mark for their final course work and examination.
The Baton of honor award was given to Savenaca Vue for being the most outstanding recruit wile Elizabeth Copeland was given an award for being the most improved recruit.
