$15,000 stolen from woman on her way to the bank

Police are currently looking for a man that robbed a woman in her 60s with more than $15,000 cash and cheques outside the ANZ Bank Namaka Branch on Wednesday.

The money belonged to the company which the woman works for.

The suspect was chased by a security officer and two other men but he fled in a grey hybrid car with an unknown registration.

Anyone with information that could assist Police in identifying the suspect is requested to call Crime Stoppers on 919 or the Western Division Command Center on 9905 457.
