15 women from Vaturova Cakaudrove ready to work in NZ

15 women from Vaturova Cakaudrove are now ready to work in New Zealand for 4 months under the Recognized Seasonal Employer Work Scheme.

The Ministry of Employment has farewelled and presented Pre‑Departure Orientation certificates to the 15 women.

These women will be employed with Turners & Growers NZ Limited engaged in Strawberry and Blueberry picking.

Out of the 15 women, nine are returning workers and six are selected for the first time by the employer through the National Employment Centre to participate under the scheme.

Ministry of Employment Deputy Secretary Vilimone Baledrokadroka urged the group to work together as a team and to continue to open doors through their good work.
