1.3 million litres of water has been carted to the main land and the maritime islands in the Western Division so far.
Divisional Planning Officer, Sitiveni Tavaga says more than 30,000 people in the West have been affected by the dry weather condition.
He says their teams have just returned from carting water to schools in Nadi and Nadroga.
Tavaga says a team delivered water to Naviti Island yesterday and after refilling in Lautoka they will return to the North of Yasawa and Vatulele later this week.
Some of the most affected areas on the main land include Uciwai, Malamala in Nadi, Nadarivatu, Peipei and Balevuto in Lautoka, Malele in Tavua and Wairuku, Ellington and Naria in Rakiraki.
