12 cases of people operating as fake real estate agents between 2017 to 2019 have been forwarded to Police for investigations.
Chairman of the Real Estate Agents Licensing Board Abdul Hassan says agents not renewing their licence has been identified as one of the major problems they face.
Hassan says it is those agents and salespersons that are not registered or have not renewed their licenses and are claiming to be practicing agents that are classified as fake real estate agents.
