113 families today received offer letters for their housing lots in Tacirua.

The average size of these housing lots range from 215 to 554 square metres.

Minister for Housing Parveen Bala says that he has read the comments made by some of the political pundits that the government is not doing enough for affordable housing.

He adds that the only thing he wants to tell these political pundits is that they do not know what is happening in the country.

Meanwhile, a couple who are one of the recipients say that this is a good opportunity for them.

Usaia and Ana Bolanivere say that this will enable them to make a good home for their five children.
