Eleven sets of traffic lights will be replaced in Suva by the end of April.
This has been confirmed by the CEO of the Fiji Roads Authority Jonathan Moore.
Fijivillage has previously highlighted a few areas where the crossing lights do not work.
Moore had earlier confirmed that three locations in Suva would have new sets of traffic lights as they did not have spare parts to fix these lights.
The traffic lights that will be replaced are at Samabula intersection near the Fiji National University campus, Rodwell Road intersection opposite RB Patel Supermarket and along Renwick Road opposite Curry House.
FRA is yet to confirm eight other locations where traffic lights will be replaced.
Fijivillage has highlighted a number of times about the crossing lights at Samabula which have not been working.
