Giving the most vulnerable people in the Fijian society easy access to the law is just as important as giving them free schooling or free medicine.
While opening the 10th Legal Aid Commission Office in Navua, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama said the Legal Aid Commission has never before provided great opportunities to low income earners to get access to the best legal advice.
Bainimarama said people will not have to worry about paying a commercial lawyer if they have a legal problem, neither be scared of the justice system.
Bainimarama has urged every person who needs a lawyer and qualifies for this program to take advantage of the service.
