Police have confirmed that the 10 people who were missing at sea have reached ashore safely in Waya Island.
The Police Search and Rescue Centre has confirmed that a call was received at the Lautoka Police Station that the fibre glass boat had safely reached Waya Island and all those on board the boat were safe with no injuries.
10 people including a 5 year old child were travelling in a grayish white, fiber glass boat which was reported missing yesterday.
The Police Command and Coordination Centre has confirmed that the report was received at 5.50pm yesterday and the boat was travelling from Yasawa-i-rara to the Lautoka Wharf when the boat ran out of fuel and drifted near the first beacon from Yasawa-i-rara.
