Two dead with multiple injuries in separate accidents

Police are investigating two fatal accidents that occurred yesterday morning.

In the first incident, a 54-year-old man of Maruru, Ba died after the car he was driving collided with an oncoming twin-cab in Ba at about 4.15am

The three passengers who were travelling in the same vehicle are admitted at the Lautoka hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the twin-cab is admitted at the Ba hospital while the passenger travelling with the driver is admitted at the Lautoka hospital in a serious condition.

In the second incident, the driver of a private vehicle died after the vehicle he was driving collided with an ambulance which was on it’s way to attend an accident at Navesi near Monfort Boys Town at 9am yesterday.

Four people were rushed to the CWM hospital including two medics.
