Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says it is highly likely that this maybe the last weekend for people to update their voter details.
Saneem says should the Writ for elections be issued on Monday or anytime soon, they will completely close the updating of voter details and new registrations.
Saneem made these comments at the Face to Face Voter Awareness Drive at Rups Complex in Nakasi and added that the Fijian Elections Office is now working to improve the accuracy of voters details on voter cards.
Saneem says they will be based at various centers across the country next week to enable voters to update their details before the Writ is issued by the President.
Saneem says they are at 50 places around the country where voters can access their services.
At the 50 venues, the Fijian Elections Office will be updating voter details, allow new registrations as well as replacement of lost voter cards.
Meanwhile, 634,120 people have registered to vote in the 2018 general election as at the 17th of this month.
