SODELPA MP Semesa Karavaki says there is clear indication that the nation is in rebellion of God’s authority as he has not heard God being exalted by government.
While responding to President Jioji Konrote’s opening speech on the new Parliament Session, Karavaki also called for some provisions of the 2013 constitution to be changed which deals with secular state.
Karavaki used biblical references in Parliament to back up his statements.
Karavaki also stated the government should not be entitled take ownership of any land or minerals.
He again used biblical references to back his call.
Karavaki then stated that if the constitution is allowed to be continued, it would be the reason for God’s curse over Fiji.
