Asaeli Tikoirotuma has been rated by some of the best coaches in Europe as a player with a genuine X‑factor.
They call him the game breaker, a player who scores tries and helps win games.
Tikoirotuma who is one of the outside backs for the Vodafone Flying Fijians in the 2015 Rugby World Cup, has won the Super Rugby title twice while playing for the Chiefs.
He has also played for the Harlequins and is currently playing for London Irish.
He attended Delainamasi Primary School before going to Marist Brothers High School and Nasinu Secondary School.
Tikoirotuma went through the New Zealand rugby system the hard way via school, club and then rep rugby in Wanganui, and then club rugby in Palmerston North, after leaving Fiji as an 18‑year‑old to attend Wanganui City College.
He was working as a juvenile escort for Child, Youth and Family in Palmerston North when he got the call-up to the Chiefs.
Tikoirotuma says he is really excited to play for Fiji in his first Rugby World Cup.
He also says this may be the best prepared Fiji team to the World Cup.
Tikoirotuma says he loves to play mind games on the field.
He says he gets some of his skills from his favorite movie.
Tikoirotuma says his favorite and psych up song is The Gambler by Kenny Rogers.
He says he also loves to cook for his family.
The Vodafone Flying Fijians will take on England in the opening World Cup match in Twickenham at 7am on the 19th of this month.
They touched down at Heathrow Airport yesterday.
