Christmas songs, hymns, good food and a visit by Santa Claus with love and gifts was more than enough for 10 children to break out in smiles as they celebrated Christmas at the Oncology Children’s Ward at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva.
The children who are battling cancer had reason to forget about their daily battle and experience the joy that comes with the festive season with their families and the Business Risk Services team from the Fiji Development Bank.
General Manager Business Risk Services Navitalai Cakacaka says that we must always remember to share the love of Christmas with children as they are blessing in our lives.
He says these children unfortunately have a battle to fight and we must support them in every way possible.
He further stated that by celebrating occasions such as Christmas, they were there to remind the children and their brave families that they are remembered in prayers and people look forward to their recovery.
FDB also thanked the CWM Hospital team for their tireless efforts in administering treatment and creating a loving environment for the children.
