Good news for people as the CEO of Fiji Roads Authority Jonathan Moore says the Tamavua-i-Wai Bridge will be replaced by the third quarter of this year.
Moore has told Fijivillage that the plan is to change the Tamavua-i-Wai Bridge in the next 6 months.
He says the team is on the ground doing geo-technical studies on where the bridge will be placed.
Moore also says that the 4 to 5-year plan is to have another two-lane bridge for the area and an alternative route is also being considered from Princes Road to Lami.
He confirms that the current Tamavua-i-Wai Bridge will not be removed for now.
