The Reserve Bank of Fiji has presented a cheque of over 35 million dollars to the Attorney General and Finance Minister.
While presenting the cheque of 35.198 million dollars RBF Governor Barry Whiteside said this is the profit from 2014.
Finance Minister and Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum confirmed that this money will go towards government’s consolidated funds.
Meanwhile Sayed-Khaiyum has also confirmed that there are two more board appointments for the Reserve Bank of Fiji, which include Abdul Khan from Fiji Sugar Corporation and Tony Whitten from the tourism sector.
