Crowds of people continue to pour into Albert Park despite cloudy conditions to catch a glimpse of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
There was a loud cheer at Albert Park as people witnessed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex touch down at Nausori Airport this afternoon via a live telecast.
As expected, their Qantas plane landed at 3.30pm.
They were received upon their arrival at the Nausori Airport by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and British High Commissioner to Fiji, Melanie Hopkins as well as RFMF Commander Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto.
Opposition Leader Ro Teimumu Kepa, Commissioner of Police Sitiveni Qiliho and Minister for Women Mereseini Vuniwaqa were also at the Nausori Airport to welcome Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry also inspected the Guard of Honour by the RFMF and the Navy.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now at Borron House where they will meet President, Jioji Konrote before they make their way to Albert Park.
They will travel to Albert Park along Edinburgh Drive from Borron House through the Heart of Suva City to attend the traditional welcome ceremony at Albert Park from 6pm to 6.45pm.
Hundreds of people are already gathered at Albert Park waiting for the arrival of the royal couple.
Also at Albert Park waiting for the royal couple is 67-year-old Adi Dane Nagone who was also present at the Lautoka Market to catch a glimpse of Prince Charles in 1974.
Nagone is excited to see Prince Harry.
After the traditional welcome ceremony there will be a royal wave from the GPH balcony this evening.
