Fiji First General Secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum claimed at their campaign meeting in Nadawa last night that the National Federation Party has told truck companies in the Northern Division there will not be any load restriction on their trucks if they vote NFP but NFP has called on Sayed-Khaiyum to provide evidence.
Sayed-Khaiyum told about 100 people present at the meeting not to fall for any of these false promises being made.

Meanwhile, two FijiFirst candidates made their reasons known for joining the ruling party last night.
Doctor Ifereimi Waqainabete says he joined FijiFirst because he doesn’t want his children to go through the chaos like in 1987 and 2000.
Former Consumer Council of Fiji CEO, Premila Kumar says she joined FijiFirst because the party has focused on getting rid of the racial divide in this country.
