A mother is pleading with members of the public to help locate her 12-year-old daughter Fahiza Ali who has been missing since Thursday.

Momina Bibi who lives in Vusuya, Nausori says the last time she spoke with Fahiza was on Thursday morning before she left for school.

The Year 8 student was reported missing at the Nausori Police Station yesterday when she had failed to return home on Thursday.

Bibi says Fahiza’s friends have told her that Fahiza was at the Nadi Bus Stand from 8pm to 11pm on Thursday.

They informed Bibi after speaking with Fahiza.

The mother says two girls who saw her daughter at the Nadi Bus Stand have told her that Fahiza was then picked up in a white Hybrid car by two men.

They have informed Police about this.

Police have confirmed receiving a report about the missing girl and they are also asking the public for their assistance.

Bibi says it is believed that her daughter boarded a bus going to Nadi on Thursday after she asked a man for money to top up her bus card in Suva.

Anyone who has information about Fahiza Ali’s whereabouts can contact Crime Stoppers on 919 or the Nausori Police Station on 9905931.
