Man dies in road accident in Tavua

A 65-year-old man died after he sustained serious injuries in a road accident in Tavua this morning.

According to Police, a cane truck hit the bus which the man was boarding with his grandson.

Police say the man was thrown out of the bus and died on the scene.

Police confirmed that the grandson did not sustain any injuries.

The cane truck driver is currently being questioned by the Police.
