Investigations underway to determine the cause of a fire that killed 3 children

The National Fire Authority and police are trying to determine the cause of fire at a house at Boca Settlement in Bulileka in Labasa in which three sisters died last night.

Three children aged 6,9 and 13‑years‑old died after they were trapped inside the  house.

The fourth child an 11‑year‑old boy was able to ran out of the house but he sustained 10% burns.

The house belonged to a 43‑year‑old man and police say both parents were said to be at work when the fire started.
