Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama stresses that he will not do what he does not want to do after questions raised on whether he will get the constitution to be reviewed by parliament.
Bainimarama made this clear after SODELPA MP Mosese Bulitavu asked if the Prime Minister had the political will to call for the review.
Bainimarama says majority of the people in the country have also supported the constitution by choosing the FijiFirst to lead the country after SODELPA MP Viliame Gavoka asked him why the government was afraid to review the constitution.
SODELPA MP Salote Radrodro then asked that the civil servants’ pay should be reviewed.
Bainimarama says this has nothing to do with the constitution.
Parliament continues today.
