‘I have no relationship in terms of family links to the Minister Responsible For Elections’.

This was the comment of Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem when asked by Fijivillage about claims by Fiji Labour Party Leader Mahendra Chaudhry who had said that their information is that Saneem is related to the Minister Responsible For Elections, Aiyaz Sayed‑Khaiyum.

Saneem says these are just lame excuses from the parties.

Chaudhry also claimed that Saneem had not applied for the position of the Supervisor of Elections and that Saneem also did not have the proper minimum qualifications required.

Saneem says that Chaudhry needs to investigate his facts before he makes statements and should focus on proving his allegations about the rigging of the 2014 Elections
