Seven houses in Vanuakula village in Tavua have been affected by flood waters.
Tavua Police say the level of the flood waters is 1 metre.
Officers are now trying to evacuate them to a nearby church.
Yaladro road and Korovou road leading to Nadarivatu are still closed to all traffic.
Meanwhile flood waters are receding in parts of Rakiraki however Rakiraki town, Naqoro flat, FSC back road, Qalau, Waimari and Rewasa are closed to all traffic.
A heavy rain warning is now in force for Western and Northern Viti Levu, Northern Vanua Levu, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Yasawa and the Mamanuca group.

The Tropical Disturbance located close to Vanuatu is now upgraded to a Tropical Depression.
It was located about 730km West-North West of Nadi at 6am today.
The system poses no direct threat to Fiji but the associated cloud and rain will affect the group from today.
The Tropical Depression is moving South-South-East at 12km/hr.
The Nadi Weather Office warns people that localised heavy rain may lead to flash flooding in these areas.
Water:
People living in Rakiraki and Tavua are facing water disruptions after pipe bursts due to flooding.
According to the Water Authority of Fiji, most parts of Rakiraki and Tavua are affected due to two main bursts.
They will send their engineers to the site after the flood waters go down.
Roads:
A number of roads in the Western Division are closed because of flooding.
In Tavua, Yaladro Road, Lakalaka Road, Nabuna village road, Dramasi Road and Nadelei Road are closed to all traffic.
In Rakiraki, Waimari Road, FSC Road and Rakiraki access road are closed to all traffic.
Babriban Road, Vunisamaloa Road, Cemetery Road and Toge Road are closed in Ba.
In Nadi, the Arolevu Road is closed to all traffic.
The Fiji Roads Authority says Kings Road is open.
The Authority is requesting drivers to take extreme caution when travelling in heavy rain and avoid going through flood waters.
