Government will continue to strengthen its reforms in the Northern Division.

That’s the assurance from the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama during a meeting with senior government officials at the Naulumatua House, in Nabouwalu, Bua yesterday.

Bainimarama said a key part of these reforms include infrastructure based reforms such as roads, bridges, schools, and hospitals.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Cabinet ministers and senior government officials.

Acting Commissioner Northern Alipate Bolalevu briefed the Prime Minister on those projects scheduled for completion in 2014 and the schedule projects for 2015.

The government has already spent $3.5 million for development projects in the North Division this year.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister is also expected to attend a FijiFirst thanksgiving service in Subrail Park at Labasa at 10am this morning.
