A 4-year-old girl passed away in a road accident in Ra yesterday.
Police say the children were playing with water when she was chased by her cousin.
The girl crossed the road and she was hit by a vehicle.
She was taken to the health centre where she was pronounced dead.
Investigation continues.
Police say they have noticed others that have taken their celebrations to the roadside and even onto the road showing no respect to others and ignorance on their part.

He says there is also a health risk because some are throwing dirty water into moving vehicles.
Elo adds that innocent drivers are at risk and a serious accident, injury or a loss of life could be the result of this reckless act.
He says that numerous reports have been received on the throwing of water onto moving vehicles in various police stations around the country.
Elo says that some drivers are reporting directly to the Police Command and Coordinating Center in Suva.
Police are reminding the public that someone could be arrested and appropriate charges could be made if properties are damaged and people are victimized.
