Four Gospel Primary School students will be taken in for questioning today after they allegedly beat up one of their classmates last week.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirms that they are investigating the serious assault case.
It is alleged that a group of Year 8 students, which includes the four boys to be questioned today, attacked another Year 8 student in their classroom.
The student was punched up and then allegedly slammed on the floor before he was kicked repeatedly by the boys.
The victim had severe breathing problems after the mob style attack.
Police confirm that the investigators are liaising with the teachers of the school regarding the case and four students will be questioned today as the medical report has been obtained.
