FijiFirst likely to form the next government if current vote percentages remain

FijiFirst continues to lead the official tally of the 2018 general elections results with 205,831 votes which is 50.06 percent of the total votes inputted in the official tally.

This is from the official results from 1,972 of the 2,173 counting stations.

Based on the current official results and if these percentages remain, FijiFirst is expected to get 26 parliamentary seats and form government.

They have received 39.78 percent of the total votes inputted in the official tally.

If the current percentage of votes remain for SODELPA, they will get 21 parliamentary seats.

The National Federation Party has 30,457 votes. That is 7.41 percent of the votes.

If the current percentage of votes remain for NFP, they will get 4 parliamentary seats.

The 4 top NFP candidates at the moment are:

2. Tikoduadua, Pio | 2479 votes

3. Qereqeretabua, Lenora Salusalu | 1660 votes

4. Salabogi, Kiniviliame | 1351 votes


Meanwhile according to the official results released so far, Unity Fiji has 6,159 votes, HOPE has 2,576 votes while the Fiji Labour Party has 2,561 votes. The three parties have not made the 5 percent threshold to get parliamentary seats.    

Results from 201 counting stations remain to be entered on the official tally.
