Fiji worked well under pressure from a strong Welsh side - Baber

Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber says he is happy with the team's performance as they now head into the semifinals of the Commonwealth Games 7's.

Baber says the team worked well under the pressure they got from a strong Welsh team.

With an hour left till Fiji take on South Africa for the gold medal semi-final in the Commonwealth 7's South Africa will be looking to deprive Fiji of possession.

South Africa 7's Coach Neil Powell says Fiji will be a tough team to beat.

Fiji will now meet South Africa in the second medal semifinal at 2.05pm today while New Zealand will play England in the first  semifinal that kicks off at 1.43pm.

The final will be played at 5.04pm today.
