The Fiji Men’s National 7s team will play New Zealand in the Gold Medal final of the Commonwealth Games 7s after beating South Africa 24-19 in a nail-biting semi-final.
A big defence from Amenoni Nasilasila pushed the match into extra time as the two sides were locked at 19-all.
Nasilasila then again scored the winning try to keep Fiji’s Gold Medal hope alive.
Fiji was leading 12-0 in the first half with two quick tries from Eroni Sau and captain Jerry Tuwai.

South Africa came back strongly in the second half with tries to Dylan Sage and two to Rosco Specman.
The match kept many fans on the edge of their seats as South Africa kept of applying pressure with long restart but Fiji was cool under pressure to control possession.
Fiji will take on New Zealand at 5.04 this afternoon in the Commonwealth Games 7s Gold Medal final.
