Fiji to face Russia in London 7s Challenge Trophy quarter finals

The Vodafone Fiji 7's team now find themselves in the Challenge Trophy quarter‑finals against Russia at 8.52pm tonight.

Fiji last played in the trophy quarter final category in 2014.

Fiji missed out on qualifying for the quarterfinals of the London 7s after losing to New Zealand 27‑22 in their third pool match.

Fiji had earlier thrashed Japan in the biggest loss of the series with Fiji scoring nine tries to win 61‑5 in their second pool match, however Fiji lost to Canada in their first pool game 22‑19.

New Zealand 7's teams and Hosts England are unbeaten after the first day of the London 7's.

In the quarter final draws tonight, USA will take on Australia at 9.58pm, New Zealand face Scotland at 10.20pm, England will play South Africa at 10.42pm while Argentina meet Canada at 11.04pm tonight.

The medal quarterfinals start at 9.58pm tonight, the semis will be played at 1.48am tomorrow while the medal final will kick off at 4.57am tomorrow.
