The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will meet England today in the Cup quarterfinals of the Hong Kong 7s after topping their pool.
Fiji will meet England at 2.58pm today in the first Cup quarterfinal.
Last night Fiji thrashed Canada 45-0 in their last pool game.
The side crossed over for seven tries as they executed their game plan well.
Fiji’s tries were scored by Samisoni Viriviri, captain Osea Kolinisau, Isake Katonibau, Jasa Veremalua, Josaia Wini and two from rover Savenaca Rawaca.
The national side led 31-0 at halftime before Ryan shifted Semi Kunatani to rover while Josaia Wini, Vatemo Ravouvou, Jasa Veremalua, Eminoni Nasilasila and Apisai Domolailai came on as replacements in the second half.
Earlier in the tournament Fiji thrashed Samoa 38-12 in their first game and outclassed Belgium 38-7 in their second game.
Fiji will meet England in the first Cup quarterfinal at 2.58pm today, South Africa will face Australia, Samoa will take on USA while defending champion New Zealand will meet Argentina.
The HK 7s Cup semifinals will start at 7.46pm while the Cup final will kick off at 11pm today.
