Fiji thrashed by Scotland in the Paris 7s quarter final

Scotland thrashed the Vodafone Fiji 7s team 24-0 in the first quarter final of the Paris 7s.

Jamie Farndale and Mark Robertson scored twice during the game.

Scotland led 12-0 at half time.

Miss tackles, lack of possession and knock on caused Fiji the game.

Scotland had beaten South Africa 19-12 in their first pool game yesterday to force their way into the quarterfinals as winners from Pool A.

Fiji will play in the 5th place semifinal against USA at 11.34 tonight.

England defeated USA 26-12 in the second quarterfinal to advance into the Cup semifinals.

Meanwhile, Samoa is currently playing South Africa while New Zealand will play France at 9.34pm.

The Medal semifinals will be played at 12.18am tomorrow while the medal final will be played at 3.33am tomorrow.
