The Vodafone Fiji 7s team has been bundled out of the Sydney 7s after losing to New Zealand 14-12 in a thrilling semifinal of the Sydney 7s.
Fiji's tries came from Isake Katonibau and Vatemo Ravouvou with an unsuccessful conversion on the first try.
The two tries from New Zealand came in from Ben Lam and Akira Iowane.
Fiji had the chance to score another try in the dying minutes of the game but Savenaca Rawaca was isolated on attack where All Blacks 7s captain Tim Mikkelson turned the ball over.
New Zealand will now meet Australia in the Sydney 7s final at 8.04pm.
Australia managed to beat South Africa 12-7 in the second semifinal.
Fiji will face South Africa in the third place play-off at 7.35pm.
