Fiji finishes 2nd in Series Standings

The Vodafone Fiji 7s team came back strongly in the 3rd and 4th place playoff to beat England 24-12 in the Wellington 7s.

The national side scored four tries from captain Osea Kolinisau, Savenaca Rawaca, Jerry Tuwai and Pio Tuwai.

Fiji have 17 points after finishing third while England got 15 points.

South Africa guaranteed to top the World Sevens Series heading to the Sydney 7s next weekend.

Meanwhile this is also the first time ever for Fiji to be thrashed in a World Sevens Series game.
