Fiji will play Scotland in the Medal quarterfinals of the Paris 7s tonight after beating Australia 31-14 in their third pool match.
Waisea Nacuqu crossed over the tryline twice for Fiji.
Nacuqu and Mesulame Kunavula scored a try each in the first half to give Fiji a 14‑7 lead at the break.
Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Waisea Nacuqu and Kalione Nasoko all scored a try each in the second half.
Mocenacagi was also sin binned for a high tackle.
Australia’s two tries in the match was scored by Charlie Taylor and Henry Hutchinson.
Fiji will play Scotland at 8.28 tonight while England will take on USA at 8.50pm, Samoa will play South Africa at 9.12pm while New Zealand will play France at 9.34pm.
The medal semifinals will be played at 12.18am Monday while the medal final will be played at 3.33am Monday.
