Good news as 45 new cabin crew jobs have been created at Fiji Airways.

Fiji Airways Managing Director and CEO Stefan Pichler said this growth in cabin crew numbers is needed since they have new aircraft joining their fleet next year which means increased flights.

He said the 45 new recruits will undergo an intensive three months training and qualification programme to join Fiji Airways cabin crew ranks.

Pichler also said it is always exciting for them to be able to grow and increase job opportunities for Fijians, particularly in the area of Cabin Crew.

He added they are a crucial link in their efforts to become the world’s leading boutique airline, through delivery of excellent customer service and focus on safety.

Interested applicants need to visit the Fiji Airways website www.fijiairways.com/careers and fill out the online application.

Fiji Airways currently has 250 cabin crew.

The last cabin crew recruitment drive a year ago had over 1,600 applicants from around the country vying for 20 positions.
