The battle is on for the 12 spots in the Vodafone Fiji 7s team as the Olympics squad is currently going through a torrid session at the Sigatoka Sand Dunes.

Pio Tuwai is back in training.
Tuwai took part in all the sessions from 6 this morning until about 7.30am as he fights for a spot in the Fiji team.
Tuwai was taken to the Suva Private hospital on Monday night after complaining about numbness in his leg.
After their run at the sand dunes this morning, the team will undergo another session at the Uprising Ground in the afternoon.

Ben Ryan is expected to reduce the number of forwards from nine to six.
The forwards vying for a spot in the Olympics are Waisea Nayacalevu, Apisai Domolailai, Jasa Veremalua, Semi Kunatani, Viliame Mata, Leone Nakarawa, Pio Tuwai, Masivesi Dakuwaqa, Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Nemani Nagusa.

Emosi Mulevoro competes with Amenoni Nasilasila and Jerry Tuwai for the halfback's position.
In the rover and first five eighth positions, Captain Osea Kolinisau, Vatemo Ravouvou, Alivereti Veitokani and Kitione Taliga are competing for the two spots available.

The contenders for the backs are Savenaca Rawaca, Josua Tuisova, Samisoni Viriviri and Josua Vici.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will be announcing the Vodafone Fiji 7s team this Saturday.
Fiji will take on Brazil in their first game at 4.30am on August 10th, they will then face Argentina at 9.30am before taking on USA at 4.30am on August 11th.
