The Vodafone Fiji 7s team to the Hong Kong 7s will be announced by coach Gareth Baber today.
The Hong Kong tournament is always termed as the mecca of 7s and the tournament has a special place in the heart of every Fijian.
Hopes are high that Baber will turn things around and have the right mix of players to deliver a win at So Kon Po.
There is no doubt that Fiji needs strong and aggressive forwards.
While speaking to Fijivillage this afternoon, Baber confirmed that he is still interested in Army Green hitman, Isake Katonibau however he has not revealed whether Katonibau will be chosen.
Jasa Veremalua is also expected to be back in the mix for Hong Kong and Singapore.
There is also a lot of talk about Tabadamu Blue playmaker Terio Tamani who received the New Find of the Tournament Award in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.
He says his dream is to wear the white jersey one day and is hoping this will be the year.
Baber says this may be not Tamani’s time as the coach analyses the players to take to Hong Kong and Singapore.
