The Multinational Observer Group has stated at a press conference this morning that the Fijian Elections Office is well prepared for the voting period ahead.
Multinational Observer Group Coordinator, Alice Cawte says that the Multinational Observer Group has been observing all key electoral processes and meeting a wide range of stakeholders adding that their long time observers have studied Fiji’s electoral laws and procedures and they are confident and that Fiji is well prepared from their technical observations for the voting period ahead.
Cawte also clarified some of the various technical electoral processes that the Multinational Observer Group has been observing over the past few weeks.
Cawte has also highlighted that over this weekend the Multinational Observer Group is observing the presiding officers, area and divisional officers checking the sensitive materials required for pre-poll voting.
Pre-poll voting will be held from Monday 5th of November to next Saturday 10th of November.
