Consumer Council welcomes reduction in fuel and gas prices

The Consumer Council of Fiji has welcomed the significant reduction in fuel and gas prices.

CEO Premila Kumar said that the change in fuel and gas prices has been long overdue given that consumers had been previously raising concerns about the extravagant increase in prices.

Kumar hopes that the decrease in prices will lead to changes in the prices of other related items.

She said that the reduction fuel and gas prices should be welcomed by all consumers as an opportunity to save money during this festive season.
