Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has said that he wanted to make five changes after the Hong Kong 7s however he had to change his decision.
Speaking to Fijivillage in Singapore, Ryan said some players like Jerry Tuwai and Masivesi Dakuwaqa put in a lot of hard work during training in Singapore.
Ryan said his forwards will need to step up as players like Pio Tuwai and Isake Katonibau are not in the team this week.

Meanwhile, Osea Kolinisau will become the first Fijian player to play his 50th HSBC 7s tournament this weekend.

Fiji takes on Samoa at 4.12pm today in their first pool match of the Singapore 7s.
We then take on Portugal at 7.33 tonight.
Our last pool match is against England at 11.26 tonight.
The Cup quarterfinals kick off at 3.58pm tomorrow, the Cup semifinals start at 8.28pm tomorrow while the Cup final kicks off at 11.38pm tomorrow.
