Guilty of all charges.
That is the decision of the three assessors in the Josua Colanaudolu rape and murder trial after the summing up of the case by presiding judge, Justice Salesi Temo.
The three assessors have found Colanaudolu guilty of one count of murder, 6 counts of rape, 4 counts of abduction and one count of indecently annoying a female.
The charges also include the case where Colanaudolu allegedly abducted, raped and murdered a 14‑year‑old girl in Deuba in March last year.
Justice Temo will deliver his judgement at 11.30am tomorrow.
During the summing up of the case, Justice Temo told the assessors that the assessors should note that Colanaudolu had confessed to raping and murdering the 14 year old girl, and raping three other women in his caution interview.
The judge also highlighted that although Colanaudolu said that he was assaulted, there were no injuries in the medical report.
Justice Temo had also said that the prosecution had failed to produce any eyewitness for the incident where Colanaudolu allegedly murdered the 14 year old girl last year.
