The 35-year-old man who was a victim of a road accident early Thursday morning passed away at the CWM Hospital yesterday.
Police say the victim was allegedly hit by a taxi driven by a 27-year-old at a crossing in 4 miles, Nabua at about 2.30am.
Fijivillage had received information that the victim was returning from a nightclub in the area when the accident occurred.
The driver of the vehicle is expected to be questioned soon as investigations continue.
The road death toll currently stands at 28 compared to 24 for the same period last year.
