Three people allegedly found in possession of drugs will be produced in court today.
Police conducted a raid at the home of a 42-year-old man in Lautoka last Thursday after information was received by the Western Division Operations team of the suspect’s alleged involvement in drug-related activities.
The assistance of Water Authority of Fiji officials was sought when officers suspected he had quickly disposed of the drugs and the process of extracting the parcels from the sewer lines eventually led to the discovery of close to 30 parcels of dried marijuana leaves.

The two will be produced in the Lautoka Magistrates Court today.

He will be produced in the Nasinu Magistrates Court today.
A 29-year-old woman who is a teacher and was also arrested has been charged with one count of obstruction because she allegedly tore up the search warrant produced by the officers prior to the search.
