The Fijian Elections Office has received more than 12,000 applications for postal voting.
Supervisor of Elections Mohammad Saneem said they have begun packing envelopes with postal ballots that will be sent to the 12,204 applications.
Saneem said they will be using DHL Express to send more than 12,000 postal ballots.
Saneem said the envelope will also include other information that will guide the voter.
The Supervisor of Elections said each envelope will only contain one ballot paper.
